The E-Cigarette Effect on You

Have you ever wondered if E-Cigarette use is a healthier alternative to other tobacco products? The increased use of E-Cigarettes has forced consumers to look closely at what is actually being inhaled, and if it really is a trend they want to be a part of. Let’s take a look at what we know:

·E-Cigarettes contain ingredients that are proven to be toxic to your cells. Two main ingredients include propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin.

·The chemicals produced by E-Cigarettes can cause lung disease as well as cardiovascular damage.

·E-Cigarettes contain a weed killer! Acrolein is a herbicide that not only can cause lung injury and cancer, it can also predispose an individual to COPD and asthma complications.

·Secondhand E-cigarette vapor is dangerous and should not be inhaled

·Organic compounds found in car exhaust and heavy metals are all a part of the E-Cigarette that is being inhaled.

·Even E-Cigarettes claiming to have zero percent nicotine have been found to still contain nicotine (most E-Cigarettes do contain nicotine).

·Although E-Cigarettes contain less harmful chemicals than cigarettes alone (7,000 chemicals), E-Cigarettes are still not safe and place you at risk for disease and health complications. This is not a better option.

· E-Cigarettes are NOT approved by the FDA as a quit smoking aid
